Il Girasole is a welcoming and rustic Italian restaurant offering a varied menu of delicious food to suit all tastes. Staff at this popular venue are friendly and attentive and the decor is cosy, offering an authentic traditional Italian experience.

Our food……..

All of our food is freshly prepared and cooked by our team of experienced chefs. Starters on offer include our freshly homemade soup of the day, grilled tiger prawns, stuffed mushrooms, mussels and bruschetta as well as a selection of antipasti boards to share. Our mains include a selection of pasta, pizza, risottos and salads as well as a selection of meat and fish dishes, including a choice of delicious steaks.

Our pizzas are prepared and cooked in our open pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant using our homemade dough topped with a wide choice of fresh ingredients.

We are open from 5pm Tuesday to Friday and from 12.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed all day on Monday.

Our menu can suit any diet, giving you the chance to sample from an extensive range of traditional Italian food. A fantastic selection of Italian wines are available to suit all tastes and budgets, served by the glass or bottle. We take a £10 per head deposit to confirm tables of five or more. Our maximum table size on Friday & Saturday nights is eight (regardless of the age of the guests) and we don’t take bookings for ‘split’ tables. Deposits will be returned via your bill but will not be returned in the event of a no-show, cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, or if more than the number of booked guests turn up.
